Here are a few tips for how to use your Turkish Towel:

Beach/Pool Towel: After swimming wrap the towel around softly and dry yourself in a minute. And see how quick-drying your towel. Put it on the sand or sunbed and comfortably lay on it.

Yacht Towel: You need practical and light things while cruising. Use it as a towel, seat cover during the day, a casual sarong/ dress during lunch or having snacks, a wrap or blanket for chilly summer nights

Spa Towel: Simply wrap it around your torso and tuck it 

Travel/beach wrap: While traveling or at the beach if you feel chilly, wrap your lightweight towel around your shoulder 

Summer Blanket: Lay it on your sofa or bed as a soft and cozy blanket

Scarf: Wrap your towel around your neck for a stylish and soft scarf

Yoga Mat Cover: Put your towel on your mat to prevent slips, or use it to keep the sweat away

Picnic blanket: Out for a picnic with your light and soft towel

Table Cloth: Lay out your towel on your table for casual dinner parties with your friends

Sarong, pareo: There are many ways, wrap it around your waist or torso and just tuck it

Our model Ceylan is a babywearing tutor. She and her lovely son Cemcan showed us how to do it while shooting our new harem pant.

Every corner of Akcakese coast was amazing to shoot our beachwear collection.

We enjoyed the nature, colors, the sea, the sun, clouds, music....

Loom beachwear collection was designed for casual, basic and comfortable living.

The collection was tailored from Sile fabric, hand-loomed traditionally from twisted curly raw cotton yarn.

By the end of the day, the team had still energy to dance.

Our looming atelier chief in Sile highly recommended us the Akcakese coast close to the town of Sile where our Sile collection is looming.

After driving one hour from Istanbul passing through beautiful little villages in the bushes we reached the secluded coast of the Black Sea. Akcakese is magnificent with golden sands and high rocks at both ends.

Our talented young photographers Mehmet and Ugurcan chose the spot where there is a rock standing out from the sea.

The rocks at the beach were a natural setup for the collection.

While we were preparing, our model Ceylan and Cemcan her 1,5-year-old son were enjoying the beach.

The wonderful coasts of Turkey are our inspiration for our Turkish Towel Collection. Each collection reflects the nature, colors, breeze and history of the amazing Aegean and Mediterranean beaches. Every season we add new designs and textures to our classical collection. They are all hand loomed with traditional techniques, finished with hand tied fringe by weavers from Denizli, the world renown textile region of Turkey.

The multifunctional, legendary, eco-friendly, lightweight and quick-drying Turkish towel is perfect as a bath and beach towel, scarf, sarong, throw, tablecloth and more. Linen or cotton, they become softer and more absorbent with use.

The name of Sile comes from Greek (Hilea), which means marjoram flower in English. Sile has long sandy beaches and it gets very trendy especially during the summer time. The town has the biggest and the most gorgeous lighthouse of Turkey overlooking the Black Sea, it is called Sile Lighthouse.

Sile Fabric

Sile town is famous for its special cotton fabric, called Sile Fabric. It is hand-loomed and traditionally prepared by local women for generations. Everyone loves this textile because it's very light thus nice to wear during hot summer days. Many shops in the market sell clothing, tablecloths and other stuff made with Sile Fabric. There is a Sile Fabric Festival every year between July-August.

The gauze loomed Sile Fabric touches the skin softly, circulating the air between the body and the fabric. It breathes, hygienic and a perfect natural insulator.

Sile Fabric has been hand woven an old wooden looms from 100% raw cotton yarn. The cotton hanks boil in water with flour to give strength to the yarn. Traditionally processed Sile Fabric is washed in the slightly salty water of the Black Sea, before being spread out to dry on the beach of Sile. This process gives the fabrics its distinctive quality. The pattern of the fabric is created during the weaving process. In addition over 55 kinds of different traditional motifs can be embroidered on the fabric. All products were woven and embroidered by rural women of Sile to support and encourage them in social and economic life.

All pieces are designed to be wearable at the beach, at home or on the street.

They are basic and timeless.
